McCormick & Co., Inc., a world leader in the spice, flavor & seasonings industry, is seeking a full time Senior Culinary Specialist in its Consumer Product Division (CPD) Headquarters, located at 211 Schilling Circle in Hunt Valley, MD.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- developing and providing culinary information (primarily recipe and product usage information) relevant to consumers and the business goals of the company
- applying an understanding, based on formal and informal research, of consumer’s behaviors, beliefs and practices relative to preparation and consumption of food
- developing gold standard recipes and culinary prototypes for new product concepts
- assisting with planning and executing of focus groups and other consumer research
- tracking trends for food preparation including cuisines, ingredients, methods and equipment
- acting as a resource to cross-functional teams and Consumer Affairs relative to food preparation methods and McCormick product knowledge
- implementing best practices and procedures for consumer culinary development
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS Degree in a relevant field required (Home Economics, Foods & Nutrition, Culinary Arts)
- minimum 8 years of relevant creative culinary work experience required, preferably with branded retail consumer food products
- must have experience with culinary preparation, demonstration and presentation
- required ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and provide culinary leadership for assigned projects
- must be computer proficient; Lotus Notes, Microsoft PowerPoint & Word preferred
